mods for doom 3

[color=red] im having trouble downloading mods for doom 3 every time i try to copy it over to my doom 3 base file it says access denied..... then it says target can not hadle this type of document......if this has happend to ne 1 esle and they know wat to do plz help me :rant:

its the duck tape mod to put the flashlight on the guns.....causes its to dark to see

hmm, well all you have to do is to put the pk file into the base folder. see if you have
the base folder protected or something (if that is even possible). Never heard of your
problem that someone culdn't put something into a folder unless your HD is out of space

ok im no computer wiz so i got to ask this..... i know like when u install a game u can put it in the computer so u dont need the disk to play it do i have to do that b4 i download a mod.........im only thinking that becaue when i move the pk folder to the base it says that my disk is read only and i cant move or copy stuff into it???

another question do i have to dowload the mod to get the flashlight on my gun or can i just get like some cheat that will let me do it instead?

you need to ownload the mod. are you sure you are copying it to your HD and not...umm...CD ROM?

uh no how do i know which 1 im coping it into.....sry i h8 computers except for gaming on them they r so confusing
