Too old. No hardware support for shaders, so if you want the cool effects you'll need to emulate it with the CPU (very slow). If you're on a budget then go for a geforce 4 4200, 4800, or radeon 9500.

Yes, got one... and it really sux! Problems with rendering, drivers crashing... :-( I wanted to know if there are others with same probs...

No more ATI... Am going for nVidia...

I wouldn't say ATI sucks, almost all their other cards released since the 7500 are good. It's just that ATI used not to pay enough attention to it's drivers. Though thing's have improved sice then, and now both ATI and NVIDIA are great choices.

Its obvious that you will like Nvidia over ATI with your poor Radeon 7500, but if you purchase a more powerfull card like the ATI 9500pro( the same core as 9700Pro )with directx9 support you will see that nvidia is following ATI in term of new features in Graphics card.
yes Nvidia drivers are more stable then ATI ones but this will be for a short time with the introduction of the catalyst/Omega drivers
