Porblem with titan quest demo..

K so i downloaded titans quest demo off of gamershell, and it wont install just freezes up, and when i try to delete it, same thing happends i just got the program not respoding message. What is going on here? Is this some kinda scammer site, and this is a virus?

i've got also a problem with this demo...

installed correctly,
run the game,
opens,
en where the menu's are there is "can't load string xqsdfq"

what the hell?


pressed the uninstall button...

With all due respect here Mendel, but why are you even bothering installing that demo with that ageold videocard? Anyway, your videocard isn't supported.

The first guy just has a bad file. Those things something happen when you download files, could have happened everywhere.. Reboot your comp (your browser has the file in use, that's why you can't delete it), clean your temp files and download again.

i've tried that, just nothing happend and that box pops up saying program not responding when i try to delete the stuff.

I just can't delete the files you originaly dl from this site for the demo, all in the zip folder,


The part i circled around is what happends anytime i try to delete anything readme or the exe, one of these files is made outside the folder i dl off this site.

Strange, that shouldn't be happening. Well, if everything else failes you could alway's put the files in quarantine in your av (not that these files are virusses.). What will happen then, is that your av will teminate any process those files are doing, and you should be able to delete the files immidiatly or else at next reboot.

If that doesn't work, then please post again and as detailed as possible.

since the first time i logged in here, i still havent changed my hardware (3 years ago)

reason: it's my dad's computer...


now i grew up,
became strong and wise

now i can buy my own computer

and yes it's going to be a MACHINE :thumbup:

that ageold videocard still runs hl², doom3, ...
battlefield 2 was the first problem
but who thinks this little hack'n'slash game whould require "monster-hardware" :bucky!:
or requires better hardware than hl²
