I have a ADSL2+ connection & I'm connected at 14,000kbps, but I'm getting pings of 200 - 300 when I try to play Medal of Honor Allied Assult - Spearhead. I have updated the latest patch & I have added port forwarding on my router for 12201 - 12300 TCP & UDP.
I'm new to online gaming & new to DSL, but I'm getting pings that dialup users seem to have. What can I do? ![]() |

Hi I am not a tec so I can only tell you how I understand it ping its not always about your connection speed but how far you are from the server you are playing on so the closer you are too the server the better ping you will have

Just a though if you are new to on line gaming y not try all seeing eye it will auto pick up your install games
when installed just click on the game you would like too play on the left hand side then click refresh few mins later full list of games you can play + you can see a flag to where each game server is hosted just pick the one’s from the same country you are from

Well let me guess, you're from holland, because we have ADSL2+ here too, i cant get connected to it yet though, no lines here,
try calling your provider with the issue, and else list servers on ping to see the lowest!

Probably joining a long distance server, refresh server list press on ping so it selects all low ping on top.
If its not that i would think it would be the routing of your internet or low quality $#&* I-net which i doubt... Did u try any other games ,and does the problem persist? |
