Company Of Hero's Won't Install

Something did go wrong with downloading
Redownload and dont use any special download programs, because they can fornicate up zip and rar files hard! :dennis:

I've downloaded the demo of Company of Hero's and it won't install.

I checked properties and it is a sfx zip file. Tried to install with Winrar and Winzip. Neither will work.

I have the latest Winrar and Winzip programs. I get the following message when I use Winrar:

"The archive is either in unknown format or damaged."

And I have downloaded the demo from here and one other game website. I get the same message with both downloads using Winrar.

The file is not even displayed using WinZip.


The size of my two downloads is: 1.24 GB (1,341,059,072 bytes)


Anyone else have this problem and any ideas on how I can solve it?

Thanks. I don't use any special download software like Get Right, just Internet Explorer. I think I'll try Opera or Firefox and see what happens.

Sounds like a corrupt file. it can happen on very large files.

I have trouble downloading large files from GH without them being corrupted. *gasp* try using filefront.
