interstate 82 install problems

hi people wazaaaap

im new here and i got some problems with installing this game so if anyone can help me out


from this link http://www.gamershell.com/download_6514.shtml i downloaded this file - interstate18full.exe -

nothing else to do but press exit so i now instaled it but cant start the game because there aint no .exe to launch game and it seems the game is installed

what to do?? did anyone have this problems before??

it appears you have downloaded a bf1942 mod;
so it doesn't need its own exe....
and you don't appear to have bf1942 installed....

i would assume you thought it was the game, and not the mod....

i can see how you made this mistake as the "info" bits all point to
the 1990's game interstate '82, maybe someone knows why?


so either get/install bf1942 to use this mod,

or get the game demo from somewhere...
(i looked but i couldn't find it)

There is either a full install or an upgrade with mods. Notice it says BF1982 Interstate 1.8 full not Battlefield 1942 full

mine is vdivjak@globalnet.hr but right now it aint working i found something interesting i found another exe that is mod for batlefield and its size is 404 mb so i think the mistake here was this: RIGHT NAME OF THE GAME and NOT RIGHT FILE OF THE GAME

i know it because that interstate game couldnt be more than 100 mb maybe 200mb

So you get the read me file.. That's not a problem, just click the X and select the shortcut on your desktop or startmenu. The game should start fine then.

@ sq2 - aha i get it now ..sothis isnt a game its only a part of game..right? so i must download a interstate 82 game right? damn this file was 404 mb large i think the game aint too big since ive played it long time ago and now i got internet so remembered it again..if anyone have any link for a full game download i will share a 2 kilos of ganja

@ gazz - there aint shortcut on desktop or start menu ,thats why i posted this post i dont know how to start it atall

yeah they started the bf1942 mod under the name 1982: hence 'bf 1982' interstate....

and as the map/texture files are huge 400mb for a bf1942 mod aint that big;
desert combat is about 1 gig !

i wish i had the game; demo or otherwise, but i'm afraid its been lost to the ages...

(and i wouldn't post an external link here even if i had one :P)

so sorry dude. you could always try your luck with 'retro' sites...

thats what im trying to say so this means i downloaded the right game

sq2 u confused me

the only thing its bad is i dont know how to start it ..them could have writen there how to play it too not only put an .exe file and no tips on istalation..damn i really want it
