I have a problem with FEAR Extraction point demo...Installation is OK, FEAR game is running smoothly in maximum details, but after I installed demo for FEAR expansion, as soon as I press shortcut for game (for demo) i get a blue screen with message about file windrv.dll or something like that. I have the latest forceware drivers, and all other games are running no problem (Prey,Ubersoldier,Most wanted...). I have an MSI nx6800 agp card, 1 gb RAM, Gigabyte GA-nsc939 mb, AMD Athlon (venice core) 3200+...

No,that is not the solution, thanks anyway...I found the cure...FOLDER LOCK is the problem.
windrvnt.sys is file placed in the windows system folder when folder lock is installed In order to play folder lock must be uninstalled. The folder lock devs are aware of this problem and say that by next month there should be a fix. |
