^this is typical of a dx issue, say if you havent installed
direct-X 9c or if you have new video card drivers that have
screwd direct-x

try re-installing direct-X, and repost if this doesn't help...

i've just downloaded the virtual hottie 2 demo and when i've extrcted the file and tried to run virtualhottie2demo.exe these are the error messages that follow:

and this was both before and after i had downloaded the Quest 3D viewer..... what am i doing wrong? i did notice in the Quest 3D program file that there was a file called d3dx9_25.dll, i don't know if that helps?.....

my system:

Dell Dimension DV051
Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.GHz
2.99GHz, 504MB of RAM
Windows XP home 2002

Yeah as sq2 said its gotta be a dx issue.

I'm kinda LMAO off over here though, I gotta say, I would never have the balls to post in a forum for help with this kind of game

Is this really a demo version?
It demands an unlock code if I'm try to run it.

i had the same problem on another program the missing dx29 thing
and dling from m$ doesn't help however if you find a demo with dx9c bundled with it
well that is what fixed mine.
just cant remember the name of the game
but then i just got finished haveing some realy good sex and i'm damn tired right now.

well thanks for your help SQ2.....but ive downloaded the latest directx from microsoft and its still not working, i don't know if its worth bothering with........ i also selected 'yes' when this part of the error message popped up:

@tony2153: thx, the demo really sucks.

@linzandrob: I had the same problem with my Notebook.
I installed the new graphic card drivers and directx9c and it works now.

It's more a graphic demo because you can't do anything really interesting.
