The movie is a tuturial for the new mode titan. If you can not run the game after that, the most prodominate reason is because of directx 9. Without this or a gfx card capable of doing so, will not run the game. Check that
 As for the asking for the cd 1 thing, I have yet to hear of that. I know it is a lot to ask but, try redownloading it. From us or another site. Demos do not ask for disks.

I have a different problem with this demo.
It started eventually and I got to see a movie trailer intro. That was followed by a black screen. The demo repeatedly tried to access the internet, which I didn't allow. I solved the demo problem however - I uninstalled this trash. |

The computer I installed this demo on is my games machine. Naturally it has directX 9.0c and a directX 9 card.
The demo didn't work. That simple. Maybe it is a dud demo. I don't really mind, as it looked lame anyway. |

It's most likely that ea uses the latest build of dx 9.0c. Just install the latest version and try again. Capatilizing against us is meaningless btw, we are not the gamemakers. Just trying to help, screaming at us just hurts you, not us.

Hell, hiw can you say the games is lame?!?! For an EA title it´s near perfection...
The last time I had so much fun firing high-tech weapons was with Mechwarrior IV...and those Battlewalkers from BF are coming really close in terms of mass-destruction...This game definitely rocks! :thumbup: :thumbup:

This application has failed to start because D3DX9_29.dll was not found. reinstalling the app may fix this problem. NOT! I have NO problems with ANY games except this one!

its a common direct-x issue. google DirectX 9.0c (sept) and download it.
problem solved.
