BF2 Graphics Problem

So i was playing BF2 one night admiring the nice graphics (everything on full)...

O, look, the BF2142 demo is out! Looky looky...

So i play the BF 2142 demo and also admire the graphics with everything on full...

Mmm i'm bored of playing just once level, BF2 time me thinks...



I load up a level and all the graphics are on low ei it luks crap lol

so i go to options and see that everything is set to max?

Please help o wise ones :P

As BF2142 is set as a mod for BF2 as nxs confirmed

If its a screen resolution problem, you can get the required size by doing this:

Right click on the BF2 shortcut > Click on properties >In the target box, type: +szx 1280 +szy 1024 at the end like this:


+szx 1280 +szy 1024 is for a screen resolution of 1280x1024. If you wanted a screen resolution of 1024x768 you would put in +szx 1024 +szy 768
It'll work for both BF2 and BF2 2142.

Try getting BF2142 off your pc and see what happens then, if it works fine again maybe it is the BF2142 demo and you can contact EA about that ;)

Screenresolution is the answer here. Your bf2 copy just ran on a lower res and made the game uglier. I assume bf2142 or another app you just ran has a different res then bf2 and bf2 changed to that res too.. Not uncommon error with any type of game, reset and try again

Or you could adjust the resolution in the video settings options too
But if you have a widescreen monitor like me, you have to manually adjust it to get the resolution in the properties.
