Splinter Cell Double Agent Multiplayer Demo

Hey,

I got this from Xfire, and Im looking for help anywhere because I really want to try it out.

When installing, around 3/4ths of the way through I get the messege:

"CRC error: The file C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Demo\Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent Online Demo\SCDA-Online\Packages\_Common\Textures\Menus_Effects_txt .utx doesn't match the file in the setup
s .cab file. The medium from which you are running the setup may be corrupted; contact your software vendor.
[Abort] [Retry] [Ignore]"

Abort just cancels the thing, Retry doesn't work, it just keeps poppying up, and if I ignore, it runs the whole setup, and when I go to launch, it goes to a black screen with a movable crosshair for a good 5 seconds, gives me the good ol' *DONK*, cancels out and gives me this Runtime error:

"Runtime Error!
Program: ...gent Online Demo\SCDA-Online\System\SCDA_Online_demo.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.
[Ok]"

The game should work, it meets min. reqs.

Any help is appriciated.

Do you have a shader 3 or 2 card. As far as I'm informed it's a 3 only game so that might be the reason.

well a crc error on a downloaded file = screwd downloaded file

download again and give it a shot.

thats if the shader 3 thing doesn't work...

ill look into it, but the check that came with the demo gave me an all-go.
