Fatal Exception Error 0E

Just got the game, installed O.K, Go to run it get the error. My system is a pIII 500, 192 Ram, still got 6gig of hard drive space left and a NVIDIA GeForce 2 Graphics card. The address of the error is 0028:CF08C9B6, contacted the support web address, with no feed back yet, but they are French (YUK) so a poor brit like me is probably getting spat at right now.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

While I wasn't able to find any minimum system requirements, I'm thinking that the problem may be that your computer is just plain outdated.

A P3 and less then 256meg of ram is waaay behind the curve, and just may not be able to handle the game
