Colin McRae DiRT demo

thing is I downloaded the demo yesterday and when i try to play it it keeps saying that thefile must be closed and if you want to submit the report to microsoft blahblah

i keep getting that message, and i cant play the demo i was aching for!

my computer is:

amd athlon xp 2800+
2gb ram ddr333
ati x1950 pro agp
creative x-fi fatality
hd 200gb maxtor

please help me! btw ALL my drivers are up to date

I'm not sure if this is the cause, but there is certain DirectX files you need to download to get this game working. Search for it on google, cause I don't remember right now.
