issue downloading

i've been trying to download lineage 2 for the past couple days, when i try to download the game before it's finished the time left for the download will appear as ??:??:?? and the downloaded percent won't go any higher, could anyone tell me how to fix this?

Maybe try using download manager? (like Flashget or one bulid-in Opera browser)

PS. What is size of file? If larger than 2 GB then IE cannot downlaod it. If bigger than 4GB than FAT32 Hard Drive cannot handle it

Resuming a download with a downloadmanager isn't allowed on these servers. If you have a slow internet connection it's questionable to start downloading a large 2gb file in the first place, try finding a friend with better speeds and ask him. If you do however really want to download the file then delete your temporary downloads folder and start again and keep your computer on during the entire time of downloading, sorry for the inconvenience. Fileplanet allows people to use downloadmanagers but they are extremely slow and you have to wait in line which is pretty gay.

pretty well summed up.

however we will support resuming within a month i hope. i will of course post some updates on the site and forums when that happens.

well, internet explorer can download files over 2gb since i patched our servers not to use keep-alives (dont ask why internet explorer has that bug!).

it does however mean that if you download a file over 2gb using internet explorer 6 the status bar wont work! dont worry, it is downloading!

i recommend you either using something like flashget or even better use firefox or opera. you wont regret switching browsers!

You could just get the quick update and get IE7 via Microsoft Update. I use it as my primary browser instead if my old friend firefox.

im having problems downloading a MMOG the whole time.i have waisted almost 1 and a half gig tying to download a file of 600MB.now wtf??! i have ADSL and it runs +-38Kbps.Is that to slow for the mirrors? im using firefox also,but nope not even that helps. so much for me playing online games this month.[color=red]

Delete your temporary internet folders and try again. There are no connections that are too slow for the servers here. Things just go wrong from time to time and regardless of it being the servers here or something in your pc, it doesn't change the outcome. You will have to download again, good luck with that. :thumbup:
