Good day everyone,

I have a question concerning knights of the old republic 1. I recently spoke to someone who strongly recommended me to play KOTOR 2 but that it would be nicer if I played 1 first. I'm a curious guy and summer is starting so I don't mind trying out one of the older games. Old doesn't mean bad in my opinion. But now I ran into the problem that the game is of the opinion that the drivers of my videocard are out of date. So I updated my drivers but still the game insists my drivers are out of date. I suspect that the game doesn't recognize my drivers because my video card is too new for the game. I have an NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT. Is there a patch out there I can use to tell the game my video card is ok? And if there is, where can I find it?

No need to delete it. KOTOR is a brilliant game and actually is one of the best StarWars games available. You do need to play it and be very profficient at it before playng KOTOR2 though. K2 extends the fighting mechanics and can get bloody difficult at times, but overall its technically the same game.

Damn it, I am going to have search in the loft for my copy now... ;)

what is actually happening is the game not starting or is the scan hardware saying you are meeting required but not recommended game requirements.
