can't get started

I am brand new here and have downloaded several trials. I thought the files would come zipped but they have " .pl " extensions and I don't know how to open. Can someone please give me a hand? Thanks in advance! rjmech1

pl...do you use a download manager? happens to me sometimes when i use one. meaning you got some tiny ca. 100kb file that you can basicly delete now. Dunno, try downloading with the browser thingy itself.

Yeah, sometimes happen to me too. Usually when i use 'Save as' instead of just clicking download ;)
