First thing we need to know is what is not to expensive to you. So how much do you want to spend. When it comes to gaming on a laptop there aren't very many that can do it and not be expensive. Alienware has a laptop for gaming but it's going to cost you a bundle. So if I was going to purchase a laptop for gaming I figure I would be spending $1200-1500.00USD to have a gaming machine in a laptop and it wouldn't be able to play the latest games. Alienware laptop for gaming are in the $2500-$3500.00USD and they will play Warcraft. Good luck with your project. Happy Modding to ya.

Labtops are great! They are like laptops, but for scientists!
Anyways, get a laptop/notebook computer with an Nvidia GeforceGo 7x00 series GPU. You should be able to play WoW no problem. I brought a HP Core2Duo laptop with 2GB of RAM and the Go7300 chipset and it can play Company of Heroes, C&C3 and older games like UT2K4 run really well. It cost £800, so thats about $1600 buckaroos. Oh and make sure if you get one with Vista that it has 2GB of RAM. 1GB really isn't enough.
