For the past 5 or 6 days I've been trying to download the World of Warcraft v2.0.0 clients. I downloaded the part 0 (35mb). I got to the real big parts, the first, part 1 (606mb), i started download off the iinet mirror (Im in AUS + iinet is my ISP
). I would wake up 8 or so hours later and find the download only half finished and frozen, it just sits there at 316mb of 606mb xx:xx remaining. It wont move at all, where when i started downloading it was at 50kb/s.Tried downloading this 3 nights, no luck. Is this the mirror or my internet? thanks. |

The faults probably on your side. These files get downloaded 100.000's of times and most people who have issues with it have a malfunction on their side (of course you could be the exception).
First, get a decent browser like Firefox. Install it and delete your temp internet files in case IE has left some mess from your previous download there. Then,if that does not work, check to see if you have a good antivirus. If you don't then get Avg, it's free. Personally I suggest to get Zonealarm, it has a firewall, antivirus and anti spyware and you can get a free 30 day trial. If that doesn't work then try cleaning your computer, I could explain how to clean your registry, take out malfunctioning programs and do more stuff by hand or I could link you to Tune up utilities, another free trial version that you can fully use with no restrictions for 30 days. Good luck
