Well, I think it's broken. Just need a second opinion from you guys before calling it deceased. My monitor stops displaying the colour red and puts a blue haze over the screen at random times. I checked my drivers and even went back to some older ones to make sure it's the monitor and not the videocard.
Thinking about replacing it with a Samsung 961 BF, feel free to leave some comments about that one too.

monitors very rarely mess up for no reason, im using the same monitor i bought 7 years ago. its more than likely that the cable running between your video card and monitor is not secure properly or your video card may be overheating.
I've had kinda the same like that with a screen of mine, the colors would look weird and the screen would have a purple haze on it. mostly it's the cable or something like that, i dumped the screen.
I was thinking of either getting the EIZO HD2441W or the NEC MultiSync® LCD2690WUXi.
Problem is that both uses overdrive and I still have to check if there is any noticable delays.
I was always a NEC person but that was because i didn't want to spend the extra doe for an
EIZO with the same quality
Well, Samsung always a no brainer so I'll get that one. I'll pick one up this Thursday and until that time I'll have to manage with browsing online on my PS3. I have XP running on it remotely so I'll be fine.
