I may have incompatibilities with Vista while running Dungeon Lords. When loading a save a message appears and ....invalid slot# and then game stops working. I will see if I can get it working using properties on the game to see if that helps. the game even crashed whle running. The game saves alright and plays good. I did go from 1.0 to 1.4 thats when game went south. Has anybody else had this problem? If so, how was it fixed? maddriverman@yahoo.com if you wnat to reply there instead of here. Ok! I tried compatibility and found it still doesen't load the Game saves. I wiped it from my computer and started over with just 1.0 retail. The game still won't load the save game. So anybody out there who can solve my problem(s)? :rant: Hey! Ialso just found my save file... It lives but only in the combatibility file. So I guess my question should be is how to make save file compatable with rest of game?

Well where does it save the save files, maybe the structure in personal documents isn't the same as in windows xp and gives Dungeon Lords a error. ;)

Well it saves them in the save file and under compatibility. I know this doesn't make since but best i can do. So now I can save and restore. My issue now is I can't leave Fargrove and I did all that was required. It stills says Slot#12 error. I wiped Dungein lords out of here several times I'm on number 6? I think. Could my problem be that I have cheated by loading 1.1 and its trainer and then loaded 1.3 and the 1.4 and I could be having compatibility issues?. Oh! Once I went to running as admin I saw decreased problem with alot of older games. Guess I'll have to wait till ther comes a game that is comparable to Dungeon lords. Or Vista enabled. I liked this game even though is wasn't complete when it cam out. Now I am stuck from leaving Fargrove whit out it crashing.
