Bioshock demo install help needed

Has anyone else had any trouble even getting this demo to install correctly? I have seen a lot of issues once its installed but I can not even get to that point. Here is what it is doing( or lack there of).
Download file- over 1 mbps, great! Go to unzip the file to desktop(Xp with all updates blah blah blah) and my red hard drive light comes on for about 4 mins and Task manager says(Bioshock demo Not responding). So I wait, and sometimes it will extract the files , then I click on Setup icon, which doenst have any kind of normal looking icon design, and it tells me " Cannont read file. You may not have permission to view this file" Which is strange considering I built this pc with my bare hands! I can throw it out the window if I feel like it , let alone view a certain file.
Anyways, Ive tried this about 7 times, no dice. Everything is up to date so i dont need to hear that, any other ideas? I have had NO trouble what so ever installing hundreds of other games and demos until now. Thanks in advance!

p4 3.0 OC to 3.6
2 gigs ram
6800GS OC to 421/1200
Windows XP

Well, if it completely fails to respond you best option would be to delete the file and your temp internet files as well and download the demo again. Also, you might wanna think about using a decent browser like Firefox or Opera instead of IE.
