xbox elite poor frames per second

alright i know before had some trouble with some easy stuff like getting the plug in right and the controller, but this is a real problem i only got my elite a couple of days ago and have notice that it lags alot i have tried 3 demos, fifa 07, pes 6
and medal of honor, and there is lag alot in it, especially on medal of honor during the fighting its so slow i cant even play the demo or move as the crosshair moves so slowly its unplayable also notice when i look to the hill it smoother but when i look at the house with the steps on top the roof its very laggy.

i checked the back of my elite and notice no air was coming out of the back and it seems very hot at the back too and its also very silence, does anyone think its overheating causing the frame rate to drop,

its not just abit of lag its the type that makes a game unplayable

Damn i guess you got a bad xbox or something, because that really shouldn't happen, call the service and ask them! ;)

HAHA, overheating probs right out of the package. Why wait a year or two if you can have it right now

It would not cause a loss in FPS, but more than likely a burn in your floor and a complete loss of use of the system. Low FPS is more often that not a coding issue or a fillrate issue with the GPU...

... unless of course you are running in HDTV modes and the 360 cant cope with it.
