C&C GOLD full instal help

Yeah im not realy a computer master so im going to need step by step instructions on how to get this thing to run :P
any help would be greatly appreciated

Well, I have read somewhere in the download section that it is a ISO file. You need to open that file with a CD burning program able to read such files. Examples of such programs are (of course) "Nero" and "Roxio Media Suite", but if you don't have that stuff you should download free (!) software from the internet. I suggest Alcohol 120%. Use the software to burn a CD / DVD, and run that freshly burned disk. In case it does not autorun, check it for an installer file.

Thank you!, but now i have another problem

i dont know what the iso file is lol, (im useing "Nero 7 demo) for burner, i dont know if that will work or not. What was the one you recomended?

Well, as you can see at the download page (of C&C gold) at this site, you have to download three files. The upper two are the "disks" of the GDI and NOD factions of the game. Use Alcohol 120% to open these files and burn them to a disk. Each of them on a separate cd. Use one of that two cd's to install the game, either the one for the GDI or NOD faction (for the install procedure it doesn't matter). Afterwards, open the third file to install a patch that makes the game compatible with Windows 2000/XP. That last file is a normal .exe file, so you can simply double click the file to start installing. Do not forget that patch, the game is from the early 90s and needs that patch to run on modern computers.

In general, most people don't bother to respond after they had their issues fixed. Try and get used to that if you want to continue helping people with software issues.

This guy might be the exception to that rule but don't get your hopes up

It's gm2's Dutch translation for swollen anus

He's from the UK and used a translation machine, this came out. I thinks it's pretty hilarious.
