Hmm, so you ignored Windows asking to install a driver as I said and then ran the file I linked you too?

Edit: the hardware manager is supposed to that. Don't get scared by it.

Edit2 : I'll check this threat in 15 minutes again, what also might be helpful is to check your manufacturers website and see if they have any updated grapgicsdrivers for your card. If you find that too hard then give me the name and type of your notebook and I'll find it for you

Printed your instructions out so I could follow them properly! Sorry about the delay - had to leave my beloved laptop and go to work...
Anyway, have found this:
Notebook: Toshiba Satellite A100-773
Processor: Intel Core Duo T2050 (1600 MHz)
Graphics adapter: ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 (128 MB)
Display: 15.4 inch 16:10 (1280x800 pixels)
Weight: 2.7 kg

OK - had another bash at it. It's telling my that my VGA drivers are missing?

Strange, should be some weird mixup with those drivers and the Toshiba notebook. Quick explanation anyway, Windows automaticly installs a simplistic driver for your videocard when you allow it to surf for it. In general that driver can sometimes cause minor performance drops for your videocard and that's what we are trying to avoid here.

Anyhow, the driver made specifically for your notebook can be found here. I wanted to enter all details for you but it gave me the option for 4 types of the a 100. I doubt that will be much of an issue with just the videocard but I'm just trying to avoid any issues here.

If this still doesn't work (which I highly doubt), then do what Windows asks and install the driver on top off that.

Else you can always get the latest OMEGA drivers. These are custom drivers that DO work with the ATI Mobility Radeons!

dont bother with anything when u play that game i also own it and know other people who own it and it does that with every copy of the game for some reason no matter what kinda computer you play it on it lags bad and glitches and all that crap
