It installs OK, but hen I try to run it ("Start X3), I get a Windows error ("X3 has encountered a problem and needs to close") Is this Windows Protection or something? It's a brand new comp (NVIDIA 4, 64 MG, 1.5 Ghz, 512 ram, 40 GB. Win XP Pro) never been online, and a brand new game out of the box. Thanks.

Your graphics card, which I assume is a Geforce4 is below the minimum specification. You need a 128Mb Video Card, with full DirectX9.0 compatbility and support for Pixel Shader v1.3.
