This might seem stupid to you, but I also bought a GTR2 game that I'm sure is compatible with my comp. I put this disk in the CD ROM and the light went on and it almost spinned but not quite. It's just one disk- maybe I got ripped off?

What media is the disc, i.e. DVD or CD-ROM and more importantly do you have a CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive?

Sorry but a DVD drive is a DVD drive and a CD Drive is just a CD drive.
You can get DVDrom drives for $40 here in Australia for the kmart specials and these play and Write both CDs and DVDs, I think that will be your best bet. I am assuming you are in the USA so i would guess you could find a cheapy for around $30 US. When you look for one look for a 16 speed and see if you can find one that is +/-RW or at least a +RW at a pinch. ROM |
