PES 2008 demo

I hope you guys can help me out..

I've downloaded the public demo ( http://www.gamershell.com/news/41923.html )

of Pes2008 but ...

I can only play at 640x480 and 720x480 low

I received this " error "

"warning
Your computer does not meet the minimum specifications necessary to run this software. You may experience errors during operation. The video card does not have the necessary specifications. (VRAM 64mb) "

Is it possible your drivers or DX is not up to date?

Didn't read the vram part! It could be you just need to adjust the amount of vram that windows uses

well after i install the game, when I start the game appear asn error:

can't lounch the game because d3dx9_30.dll was not found

I've already install it 4 times, same error always

Maybe your gfx card is not good enough

D3dx9_30.dll is dx 9 and you have dx 10, try running the game in xp service pack 2 mode by selecting the shortcut, click the right button, select properties, comaptibility and select another compatibilitymode there. Hope this works and otherwise come back and we will see how we can help you from there.

Nothing wrong with the game or your graphics drivers. You are just missing some DX9 DLLs from your SYSTEM32 directory.

Go to >HERE< and download the necessary files and copy them to C:\Windows\SYSTEM32.

is it normal that when i star installing the demo it takes ages after it says extracting bla bla bla?

I have the same problem, and I'm running VIsta 32, the same graphic card. Which driver are you using?

Because I run the nvidia forceware 163.69, and happens exactly the same. But I think it is not a DirectX problem, because when I installed the demo I had the nvidia Forceware 158.24, and it worked perfectly, running at 1920x1200x32, without any problems.

But the problem is that this is the only game that does not work with this driver version, and for me it is really important to use the 163.69, so I cannot go back.

In your case, if you are running the 163.69, try to uninstall and install the previous ones...

if anyone has any other solution, please let us know

did you try with only 2gb in ? some people claim its working then.

IMPORTANT: When Gazz gives a tip, he is (nearly) always right. So first try the compatibillity mode, like he says. If that is not working, I would like to know whether (with VRAM) you mean video memory or Windows's virtual memory. If it's lastmentioned, make sure you have set your virtual memory to "let windows decide".
