oh lord, you shuld have gotten a xp1700-DLT3C with JIUHB stepping, you can overclock it to xp2600-xp2700 on stock voltage which means 1.5volts and if you get some nice air cooling like a slk800 you can overclock it to like 2500mhz+
put your xp2400 on sale and get this instead :clap: :clap:

When overclocking it could be wise to keep a spare cmos battery close, because on some motherboards they tend to go to heck, which will keep your system from starting.
