Crysis Demo Download

Why cant the site just tell us if a download wont work.Spent 6 hours downloading crysis demo only to find it was corrupt. Tried again another 6 hours wasted still corrupt. Plenty of other sites out there. Goodbye to gamershell I have better things to waste my time on :rant:

It takes you 6 hours to download a 1.6 gb demo, that sure is a pathetic internet connection you have there. Next time you try and download something I suggest you get Firefox first, it's 20 mb or so. Firefox is able to deal with large files over 1 gb without any issues and if you have that we wont have to bother with your pointless attempts to blame Gamershell for errors that are caused on your side of the table.

Good luck wasting your time on other things.

In fairness I'm still having trouble with any downloads from here and thats after I took your advice of cleaning internet cache and switching to Firefox.

As soon as RZK (in charge of the servers here) shows up on MSN, I'll ask him if there is any way we can make some adjustments. We already discussed me helping him out on some things which I turned down then, but something has to change now. Which one was your post again Sheepshagger83?

I got the crysis demo in 6 minutes or so. Gazz, the servers are ok, he probably choosed a full download mirror. BTW, why is the cmv-mirror always so "empty"? I prefer it when downloading big, popular files here. It doesn't give any trouble at all, so why are people avoiding it so much? Or is "waiting an hour for a download being completed" one of their hobbies?

That mirror is just for NL, multiple countries have exclusive mirrors like that. Don't know which ones though.

please help i downloaded cod4 crysis and time shift from here and all of them worked for me fine . how ever it took me about 6 to 4 hours a piece also . i have dsl and it seems to work ok . i believed i used a mirror dl but dont know how else to do it. could someone instruct me to the fast ones

oh and the mirror wasnt full as soon as i clicked on it . it opened up to save in 10 sec . but took around 4 to 6 hours
