Can't load any games

Dear All
Good day, hope u can help me as i am new to gamershell.
I did try several times to download some demos or full version games with no sucess, even from several mirors.
When ever i choose a download link i see a small window askig me for authentication where i inpit my gamershell user name, password, it is always rejected.

Thanks in advance for your help.

If the small window asking for password and username is in your top right of the page you can ignore it. You don't have to register here to get free downloads. If you do keep having these requests for authentication and it isn't in the top right then post a screenshot and we will see what we can do about it.

I have the same problem, i wanted to download a free game (drift city),
so that was the reason i subscribed to this site :nxs:
So i did, followed the procedure and after the downloaded was ready, the "authentication required" message appeared,
i typed my name and password, but nothing happened, not even an error message.
I kept trying in vain a few times and then i decided to act.
I was using Firefox 2 browser and and the DAP accelator, so i tried to use IE 7 and again i had the same problem,
i even tried to uninstall DAP and try opera browser too, but every attempt blatantly failed in the authentication required window.
I tried all the possible combinations of passwords that i have in this site and the other.
I made another account in gamershell and tried it all from the beginning.
NOTHING

Can anyone help me?

Just like i said, i tried both of the username+password combinations, both ijji's and gamershell's,
i would be delighted if the problem was that simple, i even made new accounts in both sites and tried them too...
I ve tried in my gf's laptop with a different IP and Vista, same thing...
There is no password error, but the download wont start... :rant:

Why would you try gamershell account?

Anyway gamershell doesn't require subscription. We just offer free download mirrors for all kinds of crap

I'm downloading the game mentioned just fine for now and I'm going to look into this.

OMG problem solved! Finally!!

My combo:
-Windows Vista OS
-Netscape 9 internet browser
-Norton 360 and windows firewalls Disabled
-Emptied all my cookies and temporary files

-Selected the Australian server (despite the fact i live in Europe)

I just opened the page, without even logging in!
Just selected the game and Australian server, and the download started, without even asking me, for any user name or password, NOTHING AT ALL!! Neither gamershell or ijji!!
Now that was weird! :bucky!:
My download speed sux but...i m a happy man

NEVER retreat, NEVER surrender!! just keep walking...

PS i ve tried gamershell account because ijji's didnt work (i reckon i wasnt very careful at the first time, i just typed the ijji password since i m used to it, being ijji player for 3 months, for the FPS soldier front) and because on that window, the gamershell's address was written...
