Hey

I've installed the crysis demo on my dell vista ultimate computer. I can load the game and play for about 1-3 min, then the game crashes, and windows promts "crysis... has stoped working" (ore something like that) and then de game window just closes when i press ok. Idont think its the computer thats getting to hot, the fans arent running faster. Have anyone expirienced the same problem?

I wonder if the real crysis game will react same way. Sorry about my bad english.

What did you put your graphic settings at and do you have the latest drivers for your videocard?

Of course it is, it's always what we computer experts say it is. We also know you are from Holland since you said: and then DE game. We know everything :P

Lol, I didn't notice it initially. But I guess it's true.

There's about a dozen users here with pretty decent to very good skills, not counting myself.
Normally if Gazz or Gm2 gives you an answer your going to be good to go. They'll both get
95% of your problems with a few posts. The other 5% is just the occasional off the wall crap
that needs to be handled in person. I'm just a link poster most of the times. But I'm usually
pretty good at it :-)

Ok, i think i have a new one for you all know tuff guys hehe.

I also have a crysis (full version) problem, when i start the 64bit executable it gives me a black screen for a few seconds and then it gets back to windows without any warning or error message.

I have installed the required beta driver as linked above and the microsoft hotfix KB940105

System specs:

amd dualcore 6000+
Geforce 8800 Ultra superclocked edition
4GB G.E.I.L DDR2 (4x 1GB sticks)
MSI K9N Diamond mobo (nForce 590 chipset)
750W PSU

Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit

Any ideas what the problem could be?

Done some checking, there are not supposed to be any issues with 64 bit at all except for those who pirate the game, they have a bad crack. I am not sure if the game is out already so I'll give you the benefit off the doubt that you have a legit version. Try getting the latest dx to see if that solves anything.
