Store the game (i.e. the contents of the disc) in a virtual drive. Install and run the game from that drive. You may be able to do this with programs like PowerIso or Alcohol120%. Though if the disc is copy-protected, it might not work. BTW, I assume you have got the original disc?

Personally, I think every game should come with a no cd file however, most publishers do not agree so, that means we have to be very careful when it comes to this sort of thing.
I really think if you own the game you should be able to no cd it and I don't really make a fuss when people ask for them (unless it is blatenly pirated). That being said, I will put up a link to the no cd exe for 2142 until I go to bed. it is. If you don't get it by then, find it yourself ![]()
