command and conquer generals not running smoothly

Hi,

I cannot get command and conquer generals to run smoothly. There is a lot of stuttering in the gameplay and intros.

I have just bought a nvidia 7600 GT graphics card from Aria and the gameplay and
graphics are still stuttering as before. The card didn't make any difference.

I am using a Asus P4S800 (SiS 648FX) Series motherboard with a 2.0ghz celeron with a gig of ram. And other specs meet their requirements

How can I smooth them out if I can ? Please help

Try all the things I suggested in another topic. Click this link for that one. I don't see any reason why Generlas shouldn't be running smooth on your pc. Don't forget to get the latest gamepatch for Generals btw :thumbup:
