It's probably because of your video card...

Like Inteman said, it's the video card. The one onboard your pc is a ATI Radeon X1250. A solid card if only used for displaying os and Aero functions, but not capable of handling any more then that. All pc manufacturers have the tendency to put minimum specification hardware in their desktops at maximum prices.

Get another video card to play this game or purchase a console if that's too much work and you just want to play games in general.

First I wish to say that whoever runs Vista on a system with only 1 Gb of RAM is either ignorant or a bit crazy. To play games on a Vista system I recommend at least 2, preferably 3 GB of RAM.
And the video card is not sufficient as well.

Edit:
I guess you made a typo. Probably it is a bus of 2000 Mhz. I have only seen Intel Core 2 Duos with a sub-1000 Mhz Front-side Bus.

First thanks for all your help and advice its good to get other peoples opinions. Now umm i guess i will start with why i have a vista os thats a easy one our house burnt down last xmas and insurance ave my 4 vista computers not what i wanted but hey better than nothing. So I'm not crazy or ignorant just making do with what i have now. I can say that Civilization 4 works fine on this computer along with a few other games it just seems to be this particular game along with one other game called Bionicle heroes (my sons game) I can't have made any mistakes putting my specs here as i cut and pasted them into here using a programme called Belarc Adviser. Also before i go if my graphics card is not good enough what card do you recommend as i would need to save and get a new one but i do have to wonder even thou i can play other games with 3D graphics would getting 1 gig or ram be enough to make a big enough improvement to the computers performance ?

Adding RAM would be wise, but read this paragraph carefully. It appears that it is posible to add 1 GB of PC2-5300 (667MHz) DDR2 SDRAM. This can either be 1 module of 1 Gb, or 2 modules of 512 Mb. Unfortunately, Lenovo's website didn't provide any info about the voltage of the memory. So before adding RAM, make sure you let an expert find that out. Else you might ruin that pc (if it is a wrong voltage).

Ok, now about the graphics card. Since you had your house burnt down, I can imagine you cannot spend hundreds of dollars/euros. So do not choose Nvidia, their cards of an acceptible price aren't that good (only the expensive ones are). I advise you a ATI Radeon HD 3850, though prices and performances vary. So let's await other people's opinions about this .
