Like it says in the Faq, don't use a downloadmanager. Just delete your temp. internet data folder and try again without managers that really don't help you in anyway.
If you keep having issues then report back.

Hmm, that sucks. 2.73 gb is a lot of data and multiple things can go wrong in the time you are downloading.
Well, lets see if we can help you. You deleted all temporary data as I asked you to right? Temp data gets overwritten if you download the file again and the error remains in the data. Probably the reason FF froze on you at 72%. Another plausible reason would be that either something on your pc, something on your ISP side or GH's download mirror reastablished their connection while you were downloading.
We can help you get to the bottom of this issue, but it might take some time and we'd need you to tell us what solved the issue. With all the downloads on gh sometimes things go wrong. Some errors are user releated and some are gh related, just have some patience and we'll help you with whatever is causing the problem.

Extracting Disk Images\Disk1\data1.cab
Extracting Disk Images\Disk1\data1.hdr
Extracting Disk Images\Disk1\data2.cab
CRC failed in Disk Images\Disk1\data2.cab
Unexpected end of archive
big files should be hosted via torrent
its just the proper way

Have you tried another mirror? Just because you pick the one closest to you does not necessarily mean it is the best one nor the fastest.

Torrents do have it's advantage. The issue with them is, if you learn people how to use them you'll automaticly learn them how to use it for warez practices aswell. I doubt gamepublishers will thank GH for that.
Anyway, with all the thousands of files being downloaded on GH in just a single hour and the inceridble amounts of traffic GH gets daily and monthly (approx 6 million unique visitors), a small percentage will be faulty. Yours seems to be included, but we have to little info to know if the error is on our, your or a third party's side (like your internet supplyer). If you have any specific info on your side of this error we would really like to know as some coding for these type of issues is being scheduled very soon.
Please check your pc for virusses and spy/adware just to make sure that isn't the cause.
Edit: every (European) 10000 mb server is just as fast as the one you currently have

The file as its mirrored on GH's servers isn't corrupt, I checked. The corruption seems to appear somewhere between our servers and the end user (that's you). If you want to, you can add yourself on my msn adress, it's in my profile. That way I can chat you trough it and perhaps figure out the source of this.
