Default C&C Gold [Part2] -- Need more help!

Hello everyone! I am Deaner66, and this is my second thread on Gamershell.com. If you read and posted on my previous thread, " C&C Gold -- HELP! ", I would like to thank you again for your help on that thread on installation. I have successfully installed and have been playing C&C Gold with both GDI and NOD... But... there is another problem!

Mid-way on the 5th mission on both discs, it seems that the game comes to a "break point" and closes the game at the same exact locations. Ill display the full text error that is displayed on the monitor in a couple hours after I get some things done on campus. I figured I might aswell post this part to save time, hoping that someone can again help me on this dilema or is in the same situation as me.

Thanks again all,

Deaner66.

Press OK to terminate the application.
Press CANCEL to debug the program.

[[Re-Cap]]

In the Command and Conquer Gold Edditon -- made accessable from FilePlanet.com or any other webiste that the company has made it available for download -- on both the GDI & NOD discs during the 5th missions, the messages above are displayed for some reason. I have followed all the instructions in the downloaded instructions file, which will be displayed at the end of this comment. Though, with no avail, both discs of the game seem to crash on me. Also a quick note on the second windows pop-up, pressing either CANCEL [debug] or OK [terminate] give the same results.
((Note)):: These are to be the FULL games of the Command and Conquer Gold Eddition.

Thanks again to anyone thats willing to help or take the time to read into my dilema.

[[Results]]

The Gamespot.com C&C: GE patch linked above graciously by Interman works perfectly. I highly suggest you get this patch along with the other patch linked with the C&C: CE instruction manuel [post#2, this thread] if you are playing C&C: GE on a WindowsXP.

[[How to]]

1) Sign up for Gamespot.com
2) Click on the link given above by Interman.
3) Click Run
4) Click Run again
5) Press Next
6) Save the patch [file] to c:\WESTWOOD\C&C95 or Program Files > Westwood > C&C95

After following these steps, and if you are having or had the same problems as I in this thread, this should solve your problems!

Thanks again all, [and much thanks to Interman]
