Default is my computer acceptable for gaming?
I got this laptop yesterday mainly so i could have my own computer. However i own a few games like Deus Ex, will this computer run that ok? Also i have games like Oblivion, but im assuming they wont work, could anyone tell me if my assumptions are correct? My system specs are below. Thank you to anyone who answers.

Operating System: Windows Vista™ Home Premium (6.0, Build 6001) Service Pack 1 (6001.vistasp1_gdr.080917-1612)
Language: English (Regional Setting: English)
System Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard
System Model: Compaq Presario CQ60 Notebook PC
BIOS: PhoenixBIOS 4.0 Release 6.1
Processor: AMD Turion Dual-Core RM-70 (2 CPUs), ~2.0GHz
Memory: 2814MB RAM
Page File: 1070MB used, 4779MB available
Windows Dir: C:\Windows
DirectX Version: DirectX 10
DX Setup Parameters: Not found
DxDiag Version: 6.00.6001.18000 32bit Unicode

I have searched for the specs on the compaq website and it appeared your laptop got a GeForce 8200M graphics card. That seems fine to me for older games like Oblivion and Deus Ex. I think you should simply try to install them, and lower the graphics settings if you notice any lag. However, you have to realise that you will not be able to play more recent games on it.

It looks good so far, what graphics does it have?

Try downloading GPU Z and checking your graphics card.

We already found out that it was a Geforce 8200.

yes you can, because you have the requirements to run newer games up-to-date games with the hardware you got. Deus ex is a6 year old game so it will run fine. holla back
