i cant get mta working

i tryd with a friend to play mta on the internet but every time i get the message:
"run-time error '10054'
the conection is reset by remote site (we did nothing to the server we made at that momend ecept trying to logg in) we both made a server and tryd to logg in to eachother (we gave eachother the needed ip`s and set the port thingy to 0 coulse 2003 didnt was a worthy port acording to the programm. could u please tell me how this works???

hey even when i try to conect with all seeing eye i get the same error can some one please help me i cant seen to logg in on anny server the game wont start when i try to join please help!!!
