if you are trying to install from DosBox (the program) you can try installing it from console:
(start-> run -> cmd)
... and if this works switch to dosbox for gaming.

If this dont work tell us which os and which version of dosbox you are using and we might help you further...

Cheers!

You say you are using DOSbox, but on what OS?

Edit: lol, exactly at the same time as Flozenfresh!

Is that game actually written for msdos?
Else (e.g. if it is for 3.x or 95/98) I recommend it to go to the installer, right click on it and go to properties. Tab "compatibility" and select Win 95/98 mode. When the installing is done, then do the same for the game's main .exe file (located in the folder you install it in).

Have you mounted your drive in dosbox? Typing...

mount c c:\games\

... will mount the directory C:\games as drive letter c: for dosbox.

If everything else fails you can try to use a dos bootdisk for install.
