Need help with 18 wheels of steel

I'm using Logitec G25 steering wheel with 18 Wheels of Steel American Long Haul. When I'm driving straight, no problems. When I turn the wheel, the truck loses all power...as if the engine shuts off. Every once in a while it works, but mostly it does this.

I played 18WoS for about 4 days and I found soooo many bugs, so I would say its problems within the game. Does this game support steering wheel @ all?
