FEAR COMBAT 1.08 patch not working

Is always says "only for US version" but that's the one I have..

And the autopatcher doesn't work anymore...

Please help! I need widescreen support!

not working? what is that? it will not install? what is only us version? please. more input- as the lil robot in that movie would say. only you know what you are talking about. please go more into detail. maybe what you see is just saying it is for the us version only and just that. maybe you missed some button that says install. and or your fire wall or something can be causing problems or some vista uac problem or something.. system specs and what os you are using helps too. maybe that info is on your profile?

sorry. maybe i cant really help. not sure what game that is. i guess some add on for the new fear game or its the name of the new fear mp part. i guess it has mp the first 1 did.

but if you explained more about what exactly your problem is. people with common sense might be able to help.. and too. being the type problem you have. it might be best to go to fears home site and do a support ticket and or post in its forum and look for the right thread/s to ask for help there. if or when you get it fixed. it would be cool if you post back here and say what you had to do to fix the problem.. the next guy behind you will not have it so hard. and will thank you too..

what ever your actual problem is. try and google it.. did you know you can ask google questions? like- why cant i install patch 1234 for fear etc etc. if its any hits it will show them. or type in fear etc etc patch 1234 will not install. and see what hits you get. is it a read me you can get to and read that comes with the patch. at the bottom of the read me might have a trouble shooting area. q-a faq etc and have your answer there..

1 more thing you might want to do. is wait a week or so. and read on the net do some research. and its possible the patch could be titled wrong or something by mistake. say the ru patch is named us patch etc. and will soon be fixed or the patch code or installer could be corrupted or something and soon will be fixed and be a 1234b version or something.

all and all. the very first place you should look for help and if you are in a hurry or even frustrated is the source its self..the games home site. if you registered the game you already have an account. log into the forums or support and start a thread like you did here. if you have not already..

OK so I installed FEAR on another computer, and installed the patch (I don't know why it didn't work on mine)

Copied every file in FEAR folder under 100mb (the patch is 18mb so I figured it could not have made a 100mb file)

It worked!
