ah... me know very little about computers so if one of your kind, generous, beautiful, patient and loving people would be so kind as to translate "GLW_StartOpenGL()-could not load open GL subsystem' into simple language and if its possible to cure the little darling in order to actually PLAY! or not? oh.. so confused... i vill be vely vely grateful if one of u lovely people would sacrifice a few seconds and the expenditure of one or two calories and reply (prefereably to a level which a toddler would understand coz me & computers dont click). pleeeeeeeaaaaaase... i'll love you forever

GLW_StartOpenGL()-could not load open GL

This is due too your video drivers..

try updateing the video drivers that came with your card

This is true but, in order to do this you might have to BUY a Video/graphics card first

Yeah, your video card probably just doesn't support OpenGL, which is what the game uses.

(It uses the Quake 3 engine, which only runs in OpenGL...Unless you use a program, but anyway...)

I'd suggest getting a new video card if you have a very old one (3-4+ years old).

I had the same problem. But as soon as i updated my Driver it was fixed.
So yeah Try updating your video driver.
