Problems with counter strike

When i try to join an online server with my counter strike it says: Your map ___ differs from the servers and some other shit witch i forgot.. =/ PLZ HELP ME b4 i ether

the game or i would :torchanim: my self =/ !! i feel so

I think you may need to update your counterstrike to the lastest version if you havnt done so

My advice is either reinstall the game(if its the downloaded version make sure u update in the correct order,if its retail version make sure to get the full update patch for it) or just wait until condition zero comes out,it will be a better game and all some good shit will come with it

Yeah, make sure you have 1.6 or whatever, and the HL 1.1.1.0 or whatever it's at now. I would like to try 1.6 out but Steam doesn't work for me.

I have it updated to 1.5..i never knew 1.6 was out...can some 1 gime a link to it?

You have to get it through Steam, which sucks, I can never get it to work, it just seems to time out when it tries to load or something...Really bites.

1.6 is NOT out, It's in public beta NOTHING more. If you got the retail version just get the full update patch and your set unless you need custom maps.

1.5 is the offical patch for CS. 1.6 is just a beta so far. The problem u'r describing can be caused by the retail version of counter-strike. I sugest u install the Half-Life MOD version of counterstrike...
