Midnight Club 2 for PC

3 days ago i got Midnight club 2 for PC.Everything looked fine and game was going smooth. But fun never lasted for a long time.When i was on important mission the game stoped and i returned to the desctop.When i got to Paris ,i was resing a long haired dude with a beared. The first race was fine but on the second race after loading i return to the desctop.

If anybody has the same problem tell me or has a solution to my problem.

Mine exited out to desktop twice as well while I was on Career Mode racing for the new car. I came back the 3rd time with no more problem occured

I've played it to over 80% now, and I've had no crashes or anything. It could be a thermal issue, so try checking the temps to see if they're really high, and if so then you might want to get a better heatsink/fan. "el cheapo" ram could also be the problem

I just bought this game too. I was racing against Maria, but when I get to the part when you pass two police cars, the game exits back to windows. I have actually gotten pass that part with out it exiting, but lost those races. But other times, it will happen again. And I think it was starting to mess up my cable. Because I couldn't go to any webpages and that was a first time that has happened. I even restarted and shut down and turn back on my computer and it didn't work. I came back to days later and of couse its working now. Also, if it does exit to windows, I can use the comp to an extent. And some times it will freeze, actually when the mouse won't move!

The game's great, except it came out 4 months ago and there are no updates or patches or anything, which scares me. No PC anything is bug free, and rock star is making me say wtf?.

Some at gamestop.com suggested to turn off the full screen effects in the options. I went all the way and turned off everything. I got pass that part thinking i fixed it. Lost the race, tried again and it exited back to Windows, gay.

first of all redscitle i can't understand anything u said in the first paragraph, what does failure to open web pages got to do with MC2 goes back to the desktop. i played the game with no such problem. maybe u got to tweak ur monitor refresh a little bit. :thumbup:
