BF1942 Mod: Desert Combat

Alirght I'm new to the forum, I just started DLing from here recently and love it. Now on to the problem at hand. I just DLed the Battlefield 1942 modification, Desert combat. But I have a problem.When the installation get tot he part where it tells me to insert dics 2, I do. disc 2 of the opriginal BF 1942. I have Rise to rome and I have the 1.45 patch for both of them. So i know that's not the problem. When I insert the CD i redirect the brwosing to the BF folder but it says something about not being able to open the archive. Can anyoen help me? I already triedkeeping the defualt directory, and tried a few others as well. I'm not very good with computers, so I'd be thankful for very easy understandable help.

I have a problem installing the Desert Combat mod for Battlefield 1942 (BF1942). I Downloaded (DLed) it from here and I have a problem with installion. That simple enough? :bucky!:

I did not understand ANY of that ....

well here goes

Install BF1942
Install Road ( not rise ) to rome
Download the 1.45 patch FULL
download the DC 38. full patch
download the DC 39k. patch .. patch

play

When I get to the installion part where it says insert disc 2 I put it in and click OK. But it gives me an error message saying I didn't insert the disc or the computer can not find the disc. I have Road to Rome I have the 1.45 patch I just don't know what's wrong...
