order prometeia mach 2
:P

what the f**k does that help? its not like 34c is hot dude so heat is not his problem
crap tip
dude..dont make me slap you!
using prometeia mach 2 he would get his cpu to perhaps 3,7ghz.
heat isnt exactly the biggest problem when overclocking that cpu..

you want to clock it even further ?
either get water cooling or prometeia\vapochill.
you will only get "so" far using a fan. [/b][/quote]
dude read what he wrote. :bucky!:
he had instabilty problems and since his temp was 34c heat is not the cause of the problem so even if he lowers the temp to -30 the stapility problems will still be there, his problem is most likley due to what the other people have said.
so next time, read what the person wrote and try to understand it.

to the problem.
check the voltage that interman said. a too low voltage will cause stability problems when overclocking.
check voltages on everything, memory, cpu and even board voltage.

Do you really need to overclock?

Are you having problems running some of your Apps? as in,some games run to slow?
i wouldn't have thought so with a system spec like yours.

Experience tells me to overclock a system when your thinking of an upgrade,if it all goes horribly wrong then it doesn't really matter.

Anyway...Are you quoting your Internal Chassis temperature and not your CPU temperature,34c sounds about right for your chassis.I would have thought that the CPU temperature would have been a lot higher then 34c,especially since the fan is only running at 2000rpm

I've never been a fan(no Pun intended)of software programmes that tell you your CPU temperature,or the Bios. The old finger can tell you that, touch the heatsink fan,if it burns then it's running to hot :-) if it's warm then it's fine.

It's already been said in the forum, things like cheap memory,Motherboards, can caues all sorts of problems when overclocking and don't overlook your PSU.Power supply wattage needs are dependent on components in the system such as the processor, graphics card, number of drives, add-in devices such as PCI add-in cards and USB devices, make sure you have a PSU thats upto the job.

Did you ever even bother changing the FSB, voltage or memory settings?
