ok guys how do i make this one running at full speed (approx 2.2Ghz)

my system is the ones you see in the thread topic and i have pc2700 ddr ram they can run 333mhz

but my problem is i can see the amd xp 2700+ in the startup and after testing the ram ok it just hangs and do nothing what do i have to do any help wanted as loong its serious ;)

it could be a whole bunch of things.... first off, what components are old/new..... need more info, so we can help.....

Here is what to do,
On the soltek SL-75drv5 mobo,
they is a jumper just above where the cpu goes, you might have to remove the fan to check it,
all you have to do is put the jumper on to the next pin.
thust me this will work,
it as something to do with cpu over burn..

nope you were all wrong contacted soltek and they told me to raise the DIMM Voltage by hardware to 1.7 instead of 1.5 and that helped alot .. but now i have a new prblem now it freezes or restarts all the time :S damn it pissing me off now i can only run 2ghz instead of 2.2

try upping the cpu volt alittle, sounds like a cpu voltage problem if you can run at 2ghz but not 2.2.
but be careful though and check the temps

Long term solution: Dump that crappy board and get an nf7 2.0

thats what im going to do but need more money but it is the plan bu for now i cant buy one
