I Need HELP on this issue that i am having with the new CS Steam v1.6 update.. when i start it up an error box pops up and i get brought back to the main screen.. i have reinstalled the software a few times and it still doesnt work.. i added the game "CounterStrike" and "Half-Life" into the game folder in the steam menu but i am sure that i am doing everything right.. can someone please help ME here???

cs might still need updating, right click on cs in the games menu and click properties.
next to status see what it says. if it needs updating make sure it's set to 'always keep this game up to date'. also you can click 'moniter' to check whether steam is updating or not

I think its the "CANT FIND: De_Vegas.wad" error your getting, this is because Vavle didnt include this in CS 1.6, and alot of CS maps use it.

No promlemo, also, i found i needed AS_tundra.wad, search in google.com for it
