wow..... what an exciting day.... amd 64 is here... is anyone else happy as well.... been a fun day on the hardware side of things..... too bad i dont have 733usd for a proc..... fx-51 gave it to the p4 extreme edition in gaming, paper launch newayz..... i m gonna wait until it goes to 90nm to get one newayz....

Yeah the FX-51 really kicks ass (just not the 3.2 ghz EE CPU's ass).
Still though, it's much faster than the older Athlon XP 3200+ (by a lot). Even the Athlon 64 3200+ is great I think for most people who want a high end CPU without paying over 800 bucks or whatever for it. I don't think many people will be buying an EE or FX-51 CPU...That's really just for rich people. (as much as I love games, 3D graphics and performance, I would never pay that much for a CPU)

if i had the cash to burn id do it.......... it is though, totally and completely useless to have that kinda power... i guess its about bragging rights that all..... i just want to feel the power of an FX-51 in my hands, id take a picture damnit.....
