i wouldnt mind one of those, but the heatsink design is pretty shoddy, so there are other brands i'd rather go for, like asus i think it was

The 9600XT thats coming out in a few months looks a rather tasty deal

, seens its $199, so thats around 130 Pounds Sterling, and the 9600 Pro is 100 Pounds, meaning this is one kick ass deal!

How the hell do you get the heatsink is shoddy.Obviously you have no idea

Maybe you need to look again.The asus one is nice though.

I like the asus one as well. two fans means less noise (i'm guessing) and better spread out cooling.

either way those cards are great.

I think they mentionned that the 9600 XT will be the first mainstream card to be faster than the 9700.

Seeing as the 9700 Pro is arouns 15% slower than the 9800 Pro, I don't see how a 100-150 dollar card can be 15% slower (or less) than one which costs much more, but hey, if it's true, it's great for people without a high-end video card, so it might be a great deal.
